Most of V.'s concertos were probably written for Onofrio Penati (fl. 1698-1748), Ignazio Rion (fl.1704-22) or the orphan Pelegrina (dall'Aboè, fl1707). V.'s Oboe concertos were probably written 1709-12 and 1720-23; those derived from Bsn. concertos probably in the 1730's.
